Interview Techniques that are Sure to Land You the Job
Going on interviews can be both stressful and extremely exhausting. You want to make a good impression but it’s hard when your under so much pressure. It always helps to go into the interview prepared and ready to knock it out of the park, that way your less nervous and able to focus on your appearance and responses.
One of the most important things to remember during an interview is to always keep eye contact with your interviewer, but also try to avoid staring and leaving blank looks across your face. You want your interviewer to see that you are interested and actively listening, but that you also are being natural and completely comfortable in the conversation.
Another important factor to consider while trying to score a new job in an interview is to be honest and don’t try to over embellish. It’s good to brag about yourself a little but what the interviewer really wants to see is someone who is genuine, honest and really, truly a good fit for the position. When going over your resume keep it factual and don’t try to oversell previous jobs you had. Most of the time employers already have a good feel for what your previous jobs entailed so when you try to over embellish it, it only makes you look untruthful and untrustworthy.
